Wild Alaska Lingcod Portions (10 lb Share)
We’re excited to offer a limited inventory of this premium wild catch from the cold, pristine waters of Southeast Alaska. Despite its name, Lingcod is not actually cod, it’s technically a greenling. With flavor and texture that lands somewhere between halibut, Pacific cod, and sablefish, Lingcod is one of Alaska’s most versatile and underrated premium whitefish.
For those seeking the mild, approachable qualities of cod with a bit more richness, or a more economically accessible alternative to halibut, Lingcod is an exceptional choice. Its medium-firm texture, large moist flakes, and slightly rich yet clean flavor make it ideal for nearly any preparation - from grilling, roasting, and sautéing to fish tacos, chowders, fish & chips, or simple baked fillets.
Harvested during spring and summer in Southeast Alaska using dinglebar (hook-and-line) methods, this fish is selectively caught for premium quality. Each fish is professionally dressed, hand-trimmed, filleted, de-boned, portioned into convenient 6–8 oz skinless, boneless cuts, vacuum sealed, and flash frozen to preserve peak freshness, flavor, and texture.
For those new to Lingcod, portions may occasionally display a natural blue-green tint in the raw flesh. This is completely normal and cooks out entirely, leaving behind beautiful white fillets with tender, flavorful flakes.
Lean, nutrient-dense, and naturally rich in protein, Lingcod is a dependable freezer staple that offers premium wild seafood with broad culinary flexibility.
This 10 lb share includes approximately 24–30 individually packaged portions, making it an excellent way to stock your freezer with high-quality, wild Alaska whitefish. When properly frozen, Lingcod maintains premium quality for up to 18 months.
