Thunder's Catch is actively seeking temporary/part-time employees to manage our farmers market booths. We’re looking for responsible, sales-driven, energetic, genuine, and personable local "crew" while we fish in Alaska. The ideal candidates are passionate about sustainable local food systems, are engaged stewards for the environment, and get giddy about good, real food from the earth and ocean!

 

Responsibilities will include sampling and selling product at one or two local farmers' markets in Hayden (Saturdays), Liberty Lake (Saturdays), and Spokane (Thursdays) from May - October. Crewmen must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, and have a vehicle large enough to haul two large 150 quart coolers.

 

All expenses will be covered, and pay will include an hourly rate plus a commission of sales at each farmers' market, as well as wholesale pricing on your own supply of wild Alaskan salmon! Paid training will begin during farmers' market days in May, with full responsibilities beginning June 6 and ending October 31.
